Playing on the visual trope of a kid in class looking at comics hidden inside a school textbook, Eric Elms juxtapozed images placed inside titles from his own collection. They were then documented as a series of still-life duets. Partners & Others was brought in to design a book documenting the full selection of photos. Aligning gutter to gutter, this step brought the project full circle, adding a meta-layer to the series by reintroducing the pieces to book and page form.
